My favorite memory as a parent so far.

As the parent of wonderful little two year old girl I've had many chances to make unforgettable moments with my little one. After last week I think I have my favorite. We like taking one of our nature walks through the woods when she sees some flowers a little off the path. As she walks over she calls for me to come along. Standing their she proceeds to pick three flowers while saying 'momma, dada, baby'. She then turns and hands me a flower while giving me a hug. Then out of no where (and for the first time) she tells me she loves me. Well.... I started crying. Thinking something's wrong she asks to be picked up. 'Dada owie?' She asks. 'No sweetie' I say, 'dada just loves you so much it hurts my heart' while pointing at my chest. She proceeds to kiss where my heart is and tells me 'dada happy'. Man, it's crazy the emotion's I've been through since she's been born but that was amazing. What's your favorite memory with your little ones? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2wovOUE
