We are married and live together and we are both very involved with our son, he is our first child.Whether it is her holding his hand as he walks or if she is carrying him he seems to fuss if I'm around and reaches out to me. When i have him he is very content with me. When I'm not around he is fine with her. It frustrates her as it makes her feel that he prefers me over her. When he was younger he definitely wanted to be with mom more than dad, but it seems to have switched.
