What was your "parenting win?"

So, I was a single mom for 7 years. I have 3 boys with my ex husband. When we divorced he left the state. My boys at the time were 6 months, 2, and 5. I think the best thing I ever did for them is that we were on the go all the time. I had moved back in with my parents and was not allowed to work. (They didn't want to be involved with the kids. They would rather just pay for necessities like gas for the car and kids clothes). So we were constantly at the Y, or camping with friends, trying to find every cool park in our city, festivals, free sample day at Costco, weekend trips to visit old college friends....We were always going somewhere and it gave my kids a great sense of adventure and curiosity. My step kids don't want to do anything. Just about ever.So looking back... what is the greatest thing you did for your kids when they were young? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2ptRZVD
