I took the day off today to get some pressing things done, but I thought I'd use the opportunity to take the dog and walk with my 10 yo son to school. Opn the way there, he mentioned nonchalantly that a few days before he had been talking to a girl at lunch who's face changed mid-sentence, and that she began having a seizure. He said he stood up and yelled for an adult, telling them that she was having a seizure, and got the other kids to back away. The adults made all the kids go outside so they could tend to her, and they saw an ambulance come but nobody really followed up with them.He learned the symptoms of a seizure in Cub Scouts, so shout out to them! I got a call a few minutes ago that he was awarded student of the month. I'm very thankful the little girl was able to get help right away, and I'm hopeful that she's okay. Also, so very very proud of my boy. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2q33wiB
