My daughter is in 6th grade and auditioned last week for the talent show with a stand up routine. The talent show is tomorrow and they told her today that she couldn't do it because she says in it "are you a moron? (It's two people talking back and forth in this part)" and That it would be offensive. First she said it would be offensive to parents then she said they might think we are saying that to students then she said that special ed students might feel offended. However she told me that there is one dance routine of two girls bending over in front of a boy twerking and they still get to do that in front of everyone? I need pointers on how not to lose my cool when asking the reasoning behind the decision. She supplied the teacher in charge of the auditions the script over a week ago, did the performance audition and now the day before is told she can't. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2qJgjpL
