My 11/2 yr old son just broke my heart in pieces tonight . He woke up crying after we put him down for bed, I get it he prefers his daddy when he needs consoling. We were sitting on the couch and when I would try to touch my son he started scream, crying. Like I burned him. My husband suggested giving my son some space so I went to our bedroom and cried.
