Hi, sorry in advance if it's not the best sub to ask this question, but I'm a bit lost in what is happening and what to expect. My wife is pregnant and we are expecting a boy for mid September. The doctor has called her at work and said that the head measurements are in the 3rd percentile in terms of size.We will come back to the hospital in a few days for more measurements to check if it is correct, and if they can identify a source or something. My wife had a month ago urine infections, but they could not identify the bacteria and finally said that all was right. I hope it's a mistake, but more chances are that it is not.I'm starting to look on the Internet, it's not that I can't find anything, but I'm having difficulty reading the articles as I'm a bit shaken by the situation and don't exactly know what to look for.Do any of you parents have had a kid with Microancephaly (around the 3rd percentile), what is your kid's life like? Does he suffer? Can he talk? Can you give some advices or information on how you handle the situation and prepared yourself pre and post birth? Thanks in advance. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2qVogsj
