Long story short, three lessons in, he decides he does NOT want to play baseball anymore. He would rather run from his team and go climb the nearby rocks. And he tries to run off if someone tries to catch him. He is usually a nice well behaved kid but whenever its time for practice he just doesnt want any of it. I can't get my money back and he is only three lessons in and this program runs through the spring and summer. What do i do? He used to be really excited about it and now he tells me its "Boring" and he "just doesnt feel like doing it anymore" and "im tired, pick me up" "lets go home already..." You can't really get 5 year olds to listen to reason either...Edit: I should also add that he's the one who wanted to join, we didn't push him towards it. He wanted to join because three kids from his daycare were in it. He even begged us to pick out his glove, his bat etc. He was leading this thing the whole way. But i really should have asked him for reasons he wanted to join other than just "because my friends are doing it" Live and learn i guess... via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2phwGGx
