She's tall enough to reach the locks on her own and can reach the chain with a chair which she's strong enough to move. This morning she let herself out and locked herself with the keys inside her mom's car. Obvious solution there is to hide the keys but she can still get out the front door by herself. We've explained to her numerous times that it isn't safe to go wandering off by herself, or with her sister, without us grownups. The other issue is she sometimes lets the dogs out and they go into the street or mess in other people's yards. The back yard is a good option, it's fenced in and secure, but she wants to go out front and will sneak out when we're not looking and wander the neighborhood. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2rKF42p
