Yesterday my son (13) came home and told me his classmate on the bus had shown him some semi-nudes of a girl in their year. (Her breasts were visible). Pictures on phone. The backstory is that this girl shared them with a boyfriend also in their year, they broke up, now he's distributing them to the other boys in their year.I'll be honest. I don't like this girl. She has a reputation for being quite nasty; she's a mean bully. In the past she has targeted my son with her verbal abuse and manipulative behaviour. She enjoys getting others in trouble by crying wolf. That being said, I'm horrified for her that this is happening. She's very young and has done something very foolish. I have daughters too.My initial reaction was to try to contact this girl's mother yesterday afternoon. If it were my daughter, I'd want to know. But, having asked around my own extended circle, this mother has a reputation for being "batshit insane". I feared that might backfire so I decided to wait until this morning and contact the school. But now I'm not so sure.I don't want to get my son in trouble. He hasn't got the pictures on his phone but he may be interrogated about them if I contact the school. He hates this girl for her past nastiness and would resent being involved. Should I just stay out of it?I've got an hour until school opens. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2mG77ON
