Is it possible to get things done around the house with a 1 yro and a 2.5 year old?

I've been a sahm since my oldest was born and was able to get things done around the house like wash and fold laundry, vacuum, cook etc. With 2 it seems like a whole different story.Is it just me? Any one with young kids have any tips for getting things accomplished? (I'd rather not let the tv babysit them). I'd just like to be able to cook a dinner a dinner from scratch and do some chores.
