I don’t even know if this is the right place to post this but my friend allows her three year old to watch youtube videos completely unsupervised. When i’m around and see the things she allows her daughter to watch im shocked, like I could not imagine letting my child watch these things. When I bring up how weird these videos are she just laughs and brushes it off. I understand handing your child a tablet is an easy way to distract them so you can get things done but her child is ALWAYS on her tablet. she allows her daughter to watch all these russian videos and videos in all types of languages and wonders why her daughter is so behind on speaking. I don’t want to tell my friend how to parent but I just hate how she allows her child to watch whatever she wants and it makes me sad for her daughter because she constantly has her watch her tablet instead of actually interacting with her. any advice on what I can say to my friend about this? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2VPeg39
