[Serious] Son says he doesn’t love mom, what should I do?

I’m the father (44M) of a 16M who says he doesn’t love his mom anymore. He is moody and angry most of the time, and exceptionally lazy. He doesn’t want to do school work, or really anything except text his girlfriend or watch basketball on his phone. His mother (44F) and I push him to do something, anything, but she calls him out on his laziness.I think if he searched deep down he still loves her, or at least I hope he does, and I know she loves him but feels like he’s going nowhere fast. What should I do?TIAEdit: someone asked what is he lazy about... in general he doesn’t do all his school work, sometimes he does some but most times he just sits and stares at his book... he also has made statements about wanting to do X or Y for a living... things he could prepare for and or do now, but when he is encouraged to do anything about it, there is always an excuse... tired, sick, not feeling like he wants to right now, but will later...Edit 2: I should add this isn’t my first teenager... I have an older daughter as well who went through some of the same things but I don’t remember it being this bad... via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3aqfNRp
