I've been spoiled and got a taste of single parent life today...

So today my husband had the beginning of the day off due to having to go to a funeral to support an old friend. I took my car, he took his with the kids and went about his day. After I left work I met up with him to switch cars. As soon as I get settled I noticed he had no gas. Giving him the death glare in my mind, I drive to the gas station to fill up. I swipe my card and the screen tells me to see the cashier.pulling my hairSo now comes the internal debate of either leaving the kids in the car and having my 15 minutes of fame on social media as a horrible parent or begrudgingly hauling my 3 yr old and 1 yr old out of their carseats and taking them in the shop with me.Mental debate continues for 1.5 secondsHere I go taking the kids out of their carseats into the store, pay for gas, start to pump and load them back in the 2 door. Most aggravating fill up I have ever done. Most of the time I'll pump after work or with my husband so it's an easy job with both of us. Not today. Not today...So to all you single parents that do it on a regular basis, I applaud you. I honestly took for granted the ease of what my husband and I do. You are the real hero's. 🙌👏 via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2VGQl5T
