7 month old son not babbling

Hi everyone— Guess I’m looking for some reassurance here. I am a FTM, and also in the special ed field so I am naturally very nervous about my sons development. He does not babble consonant sounds- no ma, ba, ga, da, etc. Should I be concerned? When did your baby start making these sounds? He does vocalize. A lot of ah’s and uh’s, and he blows raspberries. He also responds to his name, responds/looks for sounds, sits well, passes objects between hands, feeds himself puffs with a pincer grasp. No crawling, but he does well on his tummy, he can pivot in a circle haha. But he doesn’t get up on his hands and knees yet. He’s also the happiest and cutest baby! He absolutely lights up when he sees me or his dad, loves when we sing to him, makes great eye contact, attends to us when we talk to him, loves books etc.I guess I just feel like the lack of babbling part is a big piece, and it’s so hard not to worry. 😥 via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2uRWWiT
