I'm angry and hurt. Today, the bus driver and the assistant wouldn't let Delilah (special needs 3 year old, in special education classes and rides the handicap bus) on with her stuffed monkey. They took it from her and gave it back to me, even though she was screaming and crying for it.They said because the school will just take it from her anyway and she'd never see it again. Delilah has ALWAYS taken a stuffed animal with her to class and it's never been an issue before. It's always came home with her and her teacher has NEVER said she couldn't have it. She has better days at school with one of HER stuffed animals.I don't know what to do about it, unless I just shove whatever stuffed animal into her bookbag like usually do. Her crying for her stuffed animal broke my heart. She was so excited to show the bus driver and the assistant her monkey, just to have them literally rip it from her arms when she showed them.Y'all. This is a bus driver and bus assistant for SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS and they did this RIGHT in front of me. I'm angry and hurt for my child. I don't know if I need to call the school or what but fuck, my heart is broken for my little girl. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2ZB4yDZ
