Parenting LPT: Make the first skill you teach your kids "Raise the Roof."

I have two boys. 9 years apart. With boy number one, I taught him "raise the roof" because I thought it'd be cute and funny. He did "raise the roof" first before clapping, talking, anything.Boy number two... is a monster. He's wild, violent, loud, extremely high energy, but super super happy. Always smiling and laughing and everything is fun. It's rough fun, but fun. Diaper changes can be difficult because a few times he reached down and grabbed the soiled diaper while kicking his legs and threw the biological weapon towards me. But these difficult diaper changes were only the ones where I forgot to have him "raise the roof."Raise the roof, don't touch your pee and poo. Always teach it first, and thank me later. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2LvAnFg
