Can I start by saying that I'm so tired. The kids started back to school last week, and having to get them all out the door so early is just killing me.Today we skipped my 3yo nap. Labor Day festivities. She's over tired. Way over tired. We're just trying to make it to the finish line. Feed them dinner, baths, bed. All she needs to do is eat some dinner. 15 minutes of rotating parenting strategies to get her to the table. They all fail.My 5yo asks if we can turn back on My Little Pony movie while they finish eating. "No. Not unless you're all at the table eating and Amelia is there too." 5yo comes over and gently asks her to come to the table. "No!!!". Hides in sofa.4yo sticks a plastic sword in a carrot that also has a string on it for some reason??? He comes over with the hanging carrot calling her name in a sing-songy fashion. Gets her to follow him to the table, up into the chair and gives her the carrot to eat. He literally lures her to the table with a carrot on a stick. She's happily eating her dinner right now.Am I the only one? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2NSjK9c
