Our son is blessed with two sets of loving grandparents! He's the first on both sides and is so very loved! Both sets live between 45mins and and hour-ish away which is nice because we see them often and they're always willing to help. Now again, remember - very blessed, they love him a ton, AND they get along! Awesome, right?! Yes!!! But... Both sets (let's be honest, mostly the grandmothers) have a passive aggressive thing from time to time of jealousy. Paternal grandparents recently asserted themselves (which we appreciate) and said once a month they want to do an outing with us and our son. They've been such fun outings! I never flaunt them in front of my parents because that'd just be rude, but I also don't hide that we do these things. And cue passive aggressive jealousy, which I understand. But as parents to a toddler with our own life stuff happening, we don't have the desire to have to manage that. Any thoughts, advice, words of wisdom?! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2LCe0Oc
