My son kept his word on potty training

My son kept postponing potty training, whenever I asked him to go potty he'd protest and say "when I turn 4". I thought he was being cheeky and stubborn, just procrastinating basically.But on his birthday, right after he blew the candles off his birthday cake, he said he doesn't want to wear diapers anymore. We went on a 2 week trip across Canada shortly after, and he miraculously potty trained himself. He'd hold in his pee and ask to go to the washroom, even when we were hiking in the forest. Amazing!He is about 90% potty trained now. We were struggling for a whole year to get him potty trained and then he goes and does it himself hahaha.
