I am pregnant for the first time, my boyfriend and I work full time. I have to go back to work pretty soon after baby is born, a couple weeks. I’m freaking out about leaving my baby with a stranger. I always thought I would be a stay at home mom, but it just isn’t in the cards, as we got pregnant much sooner than expected. No one I know has their kids in a daycare, they all have a family member who watches them. At least when they are infants, But we don’t live close to any family. I am probably worrying over nothing, and it will probably be fine. I just don’t want someone else raising my baby, since they would be there 9 hours a day. How was your experience with infants in day care? Should we look into getting a nanny instead? I can’t go part time at all, and I can’t take any extra time off. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2UqmD0J
