My almost 3 year old is showing most of the classic signs of being ready for potty training so I went ahead and started trying. The problem is, he's terrified of sitting on the potty. He will scream bloody murder and beg me to get him off of it. We've been through two different potties and he isn't afraid when he's not sitting on them. He's fine with touching them and talking about potty. If I ask him if he wants to go potty he's happy to go to the bathroom, but as soon as we sit on a potty he loses his mind.
