I have a 9 month old son and haven't really been able to connect to him since he's been around. It's a little better now that he's crawling around, but that's pretty much the extent of what he can do. I still entertain him and change his diapers and all of that jazz.I have been childless for some time (I'm 37), so having a baby at my age has been the adjustment. I was looking forward to parenting, but I guess I never really put much thought into infancy. I pictured taking him out fishing, coaching his little league team, and holding up the state banner after the championship game. Typical father/son things.I know organized sports start at 3 and I plan on signing him up immediately to help our bond, but what do I do until then? How do you manage with a baby when you aren't a baby person? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2qdO2c6
