Anxious 2 year old - tangible support at daycare?

Our little dude is 2.25, he's been at this daycare since he was 10 months. As he gets older, he seems to be getting more anxiety about the unpredictability of the other kids. It goes in phases, but if it gets too loud or busy he either goes off by himself, or if he can't he will burst into tears (he is not normally a crier). In the past, we've let him wear his moose winter hat in the classroom, which seemed to help, but its now too hot for that now. We'd like him to have something for comfort that isn't going to be a danger or too much of a distraction for him or the other kids, so something he can wear or can be clipped to him in some way is preferable.Any thoughts? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2pgCUXq
