Before I begin, I know she's three and a half and that tantrums are normal. This doesn't seem normal, though. Also, she doesn't really nap anymore. We try, but she just won't nap. So we give her an hour of quiet time, which is usually her talking to herself or her stuffed animals while in her bed.For the past month or so, a few times per week, she'll wake up in the middle of the night. We thought they were night terrors at first. She'd wake up, screaming crying, like horror show screaming, and we'd go to comfort her. She will have none of that. Tells us to get our hands off of her, she hates us, etc. Kicks and slaps when we try to comfort her or sit with her on the rocking chair. Just inconsolable. We'll ask what is wrong, she'll say she doesn't want to tell us. Sometimes she'll say she doesn't know, but mostly she doesn't want to say. We'll be up there for at least a half hour before she calms down and goes back to sleep, but the whole time, she is screaming horrible things at us and just being horrible. So we thought it was maybe night terrors, but she remembers everything the next day. Like, the whole thing. And she won't say if anything is wrong, just goes about her day like a normal toddler. Few tantrums that are totally normal throughout the day. We're just lost. Have no idea what to do or how to help. Her preschool teachers say she's fine during class (two and a half hours, twice a week). She's a very high-energy kid. All the time, she's hyper. But this nighttime stuff has us worried. Any help or advice would be so appreciated. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2n0Z40W
