Parents of high schoolers, how much time does your child spend on homework each day? Does it seem like too much?

Just a questions I am asking out of curiosity.My boys are in 10th and 12th grade. Both of them get home from school around 6:00 in the evening. They'll usually shower, eat, and then get started on homework around 8:00 or so. They'll both be up until 10 or 11 at night completing homework.Both are in advanced courses, but this seems like a lot to me. From parents I have talked to, this seems to be the norm.Neither of my boys complain. They are able to manage their time and they get "enough" sleep to carry on through the day but it just seems like a lot to me.So, I am curious. Is 2-3 hours of homework "normal" for high school students in your area or does it seem like a lot to you? Thanks. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2m1BjUI
