Anyone else hate the term "your/my kid"??

Obviously there's situations I'm not talking about, example: "Do you have kids?" Or "Today my kids were ___" or basically anything plural. I recently got into an argument with an ex and when referring to my daughter he said "Now give me my kid." Or if someone were to say "Come get your kid". It really rubs me the wrong way. Only time I've ever heard "your/my kid" was in a derogatory tone and I just can't stand it. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2bHT4X5
