Nobody tells you what comes after infancy.

My son, my rainbow baby, has successfully completed four years of a life I was told repeatedly he would never have. In his fifth year of life we have struggled with the change that comes with being four. The problem with four is that it's not three. Four years old is a big boy with things to do and wants and desires articulated with greater ease than when he was three just days ago.I saw signs when I was pregnant that said "let him sleep, for when he wakes he will move mountains". The infant and toddler years are spent sleeping and preparing for the journey that lies ahead. Although I may weep for the baby boy I once had, I know that his time of awakening looms and there are mountains to be moved. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2dt0BJX
