3.5 year old says "I don't love you" to mother almost daily.

My son is almost 4. For the past couple months he has started to tell me "I don't love you, Mommy" on an almost daily basis. He also gets upset and says things like "I never want to play with you again, you can't cuddle with me, you can't read me books or play with me".At first I chalked it up to being 3. But it's so frequent that I wonder if I should bring it up with his doctor. He doesn't say it to anyone else.
