I may be losing my dad and I don't know how to handle this.

My dad has been living with us since my son was 5mo because while driving home from visiting us he had a medical event and he ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks, 1 in icu, 1 in recovery. That was a little over 1.5yrs ago. Since then my dad has been doing well, he just couldn't work and needed to not be living alone anymore. The last couple weeks have been not great, but he was convinced it was just the stress of moving and said he'd make a doctor's appointment. Last night was really bad and I forced him to the hospital.My son is 2 now and he adores his papa and if we do have to say goodbye I don't know if I should bring him to the hospital to see him. He was asleep when I brought my dad to the hospital last night and now they are intubating him and I think it would be scary for my son to see him like that but I want him to see his papa again.
