Our county policy is really strict when it comes to pics of foster kids on social media. Teens aren't allowed to post pics of themselves on social media (even if private) and aren't allowed to post their real names (there is a written policy). My 15 y/o FD HATES it. But our CW threaten to move FD if she finds pics. I live in a very small community where everyone knows everyone, so if a pic of FD is posed on line, the CW is likely to find out. I have a bio DD who is just one year younger han FD and has a fair bit of internet freedom. I occasionally keep tabs, but she's pretty much free to take responsibility for herself. I hate this double standard. I hate battling her over something that doesn't matter. But this is policy. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2bmdy2v
