Wife is leaving, and I'm not the bio or adopted father. I've basically just been the standin father (and rightfully so) for the past 4 years. It's civil, but complicated, and I'm not pushing for custody in any form, valuing some semblance of stability for my son. Not to mention, I'll be moving to another state, as I only live in my current one due to the military and will be returning back to my "home state" to go to college. Due to being solo, going to college, and being several states away, I likely won't be involved with him anymore, at least until he starts asking questions about what happened when he's older.I don't mind talking about the subject overall.
