My 14 year old son is a quiet smart boy who gets into arguments and sometimes fights with people at school. I went to his school to collect a letter and the groups of boys that he used to hang around with were displaying disgusting behaviour, one even threw a cake at me and my son, and my son went to the boy who did it (he said he was arguing with him earlier, they used to be friends) and punched him square in the face, knocking him onto the ground. Since then he not told me an awful lot about them. I fear he might have lost his only school friends. I looked at his phone because it was pinging, and some more boys were talking in what looked like a groupchat called "(my sons name) is a mongo fuck" saying how they hated him. I dont know if he seen the messages or not, but I asked him about his friends and he said he doesnt want to hang around them. However, he plays this game called GTA V, and he tells me all about it and the people he meets, and how he makes youtube videos about it. They now talk on skype, kik and instagram daily, but they're age varies (9-20) and none of them live in the country. My son has never really invited his friends to his house or went to their parties, which makes me think that they have been bullying him for the better part of the year. I dont know what to do, I dont want to move his school because he says everyone that has moved to his school are weirdos, and he doesnt want to hang around with anyone in his current school. Ive asked him about all his friends, but they all seem to be dodgy people now (skipping school, offering him weed and cigarretes and booze etc) so I really dont know what to do Also he has not been asked out or asked a girl out since he was 10 (almost 5 years) and he has gotten an interest in her again I believe. Ive also tried to talk to him but it just makes him even more distant. Im thinking about moving country, maybe to a country where my sons friends are, but I really dont know. Im scared for after Summer because he will be in 3rd year and he will really be depending on friends to get him somewhere.
