Overwhelmed choosing right caretaker for toddler

I have a 16 month old daughter. She is currently being taken care of by grandma (76 years old only speaks Chinese). They love each other very much. My problem is that she watches a lot of tv/iPad and DD still isn't speaking a single word. Not even mommy or daddy. This is her only delayed milestone imo. She understands English very well.We had a speech therapist just evaluate her at 0-3 month speaking level so we are eligible for speech therapy lessons by the state.I feel that since my daughter is behind on speaking, I need to put her in a more stimulating environment like a daycare. We just visited the one next to our house but really didn't like their style. Basically they just lump all the kids together and keep them in line. "Now is time to eat. Now is time for play. Now is time for sleep.". If they veer, they gentle steer them back.I've been looking at Montessori style schools. The problem that I find is that they aren't accredited and if they are, only a specific teacher has the certification.I did find one where the whole school is accredited, but it is 30 minutes out of the way (so really 1 hour out of the way)Now I'm feeling very overwhelmed and not sure how to proceed. If anyone has any insightful comments or suggestion, I would appreciate it. Thanks. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2auce2A
