My 5 year old son, who is in Kindergarten cries every single morning before school. Since the first day. From the time we walk out of the door to the time I walk him into his school he cries. Going on 7 months now. It rips my heart out every morning and I dread waking him up. I thought he would eventually get used to it and it would just stop. He says it’s because he wants to stay home and recently said it’s because he doesn’t like the rules. He has rules at home so I wasn’t sure what to think about that. I have tried a reward chart but he couldn’t go a day without doing it, and watching him try really hard not to cry (while still crying) is worse. Does anyone, I am so desperate here, have any tricks, tips, experience, advice they would be willing to share about this? I feel so bad for my boy waking up every day and being sad, just a horrible way to start ones day. I’ve also talked to his teacher and she said since starting her teaching career in 1997 she has only had one other student ever do this, but gave me no advice to help him. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3cvgudW
