Am I wrong for feeling upset that after missing a call from my sons school, they denied calling, then called Emerg. Contact with sensitive info?

I missed the call while I was in the shower. I called back, and neither the secretary, principle or vice principle knew who called. The teacher was outside and unreachable so I was told they'd call back in 20 minutes.I had to get some gas and leave my phone at home to charge so I stopped by the school instead. I was told that his teacher didn't know either, and given the attitude by the secretary that she didn't even believe I got a call from the school. I was worried because my son has been having some problems emotionally at school and also some physical accidents where he was hurt by another child.2.5 hours later I get a text from my cousin (emergency contact) that someone from his school called and asked for permission for my son to be in an emotional wellness group. Apparently related to his emotional challenges. That is something we keep private and they just gave the information out while denying me even the chance when I asked 4 different people who all should have knownI feel violated and want to go to the school to talk about it but I'm not sure if I'm over reacting, or what the right thing to say would be. I get anxious with confrontation.Edit: I have the name of the person who called and it is I believe a teachers assistant in the class, but I've only heard the name once or twice and never met him when I've been in. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/32N2hED
