My son is just over 3 and my wife has been a SAHM since birth. She randomly decided she wanted to get a PT job and within a day she had a job. I’m just here to report that we had a damn good day and we all survived. I think it’s the longest amount of time my son and I had ever been left alone without her. To my surprise he didn’t once cry or ask where she was. We watched some college football, played with some cars and dinosaurs, ate dinner and got cleaned up for bed. The house was a mess by the time she got home (idk how she keeps it so clean) he’s a walking tornado but we were all happy to see each other once she got back. She was happy, she had a good day but requested I text more and send progress pics tomorrow hahaTo all the SAHP: We will never be worthy of your love and kindness.
