Hey Parents, a message from a 19 year old daughter to you.

I (f19), am the oldest of three kids (f16, m7) in our household, so I’ve taken the brunt of just about every hurtful thing I can from my parents. And out of all the of the hurtful disgusting things that they’ve said to me, I can truthfully tell you that nothing hurts us more then when you we are attacked over things that are out of our control and are things we should NEVER be attacked for (ex. Being a girl). Things my dad has said: “if only you were a guy then maybe I would respect you more”.
