My wife [34f] and I [34m] were thinking about taking our 3 boys (1, 5, 7) on a vacation instead of Xmas gifts this year

We don’t plan on torturing these kids with no gifts to open Xmas morning but we wanted to change it up. Have a few small gifts to open and the big one being a trip a few months away.
