Stupid rant: I used to love watching tv shows with my dad. My son and step children pretty much hate everything I try and watch with them.

I know it is stupid and a bit selfish, but one of the things I kinda looked forward to asa parent was watching silly sci-fi shows with my kid. Star Trek, Farscape, stargate. Instead the whole family groans at the thought. The problem is that not only does it suck not enjoying it together but makes my not enjoy them only either.
