We had adopted our daughter (16) when she four years old. There was no info about her birth parents or her real age, it was just all just an estimate. We’ve never exactly told her how she go to orphanage though, I might’ve added a few hints, but husband thinks she’s too young. I’ve only told her that the police found her, but that’s as far as I will let on to her. She has come more curious about where she came from and who her parents are. I have tried to talk to my husband about it but he keeps pleading that she doesn’t need to know, and that we’re her family and that’s all that matters.
