Sister for sale (funny story)

So every night I read to my kids before bed. Usually I do it for the youngest cause she's 1 and my 7 year old already reads pretty well but tonight he requested I read him some poems from Shel Silverstein. The last poem I read was about a little boy trying to sell his "annoying", "spying" little sister and my son was horrified lol. Both dh and I come from huge Latino families where getting privacy at all was a luxury. Especially for poor dh who has 7 sisters. He thought the poem was hilarious and said he always wished he could do that (said jokingly). Our son was an only child until he was almost 6 so he absolutely loves and adores his sister regardless of her pinching, slapping and hitting him. Or destroying his stuff. Or keeping him awake with her crying. He also has forgotten that he originally wanted a baby brother. He thinks she's the cutest, sweetest, best sister in the world and and no one else has a better baby sister. I love those two, they are adorable....when they're getting along lol. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2puTUyq
