Parenting venting

I just need to get this out, vent a little and then go to bed. I'll warn you, I'm using talk to text, because I'm so exhausted. So if it's a little run on ish, I'm sorry.My oldest daughter went to a birthday party at the local roller rink today. Drop off time was at 7 I had her there a few minutes early so I could talk to one of the other mothers, who is my daughter's best friend's mom, about giving her a ride home at 9. I have to work at 5:30 in the morning. She says of course , she has to pass my house anyways to bring her daughter's home. 930 rolls around I've already been in bed I am very asleep. And I get a call from the girl's mother who hosted thebirthday party. The party has been over for a half an hour and they can't get ahold of the other mom to give 6 kids, including mine, a ride home. Her minivan is full and she can't fit anymore kids in it, and the other mother isn't answering her phone. I tried to call the other mom few times, she doesn't answer, so I end up getting out of bed driving to the roller rink, picking up all the kids who don't have a ride , and drive around for the last two hours dropping them off where they're supposed to be I am so angry. The last girl I dropped off is the daughter of the woman who should have driven everyone home. She is sitting on her front porch drunk as hell. I get out of my van her daughter goes inside, and I say "where the hell were you. You knew I had to be at work in the morning."And the woman just laughs and says "ohI forgot that was tonight, I thought they were in bed", with the most drunk and slur voice I have ever heard. Thank God she had forgot, I guess, or else she would have picked up the girls drunk as crap.I'm going to bed now, I'm too tired. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2qXeZSu
