Is it ok to ask my mother in-law not to come to our first born's birth?

Long story short: My soon to be mother in-law, as lovely as she is, is very emotionally draining and high energy.Our baby is due next year and for the first 10 days after the baby is born we want to experience the "new born bliss" by ourselves... We are asking everyone including the in-law but we know asking the in-law to let us have this won't be taken particularly well, but wanted to know if it was genuinely morally wrong before asking her.We also wanted to know if anyone has had a similar experience that they could share?TL;DR: titleEDIT: We’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s comments, it’s given us both a lot to consider!
