Not sure where to start on this but my 14 year old daughter is homeschooled the last two years. A strange note that included dark humor and sexual innuendo on her phone was discovered by her older sister, I thought I should look into her phone. Basically she has 600+ videos on TikTok, nearly 12k followers and regularly gets 5000+ veiws. She has dozens of friends on Snapchat that live all across the country that she has long deep conversations with. She met them on TikTok she says. None of the dialogue and topics match the personality she puts on with us. A lot of teenage relationship drama but it’s all virtual relationships so sorta bizarre to me. There’s quite a bit of talk about sexuality. I detected she is likely bicurious but she’s never had any sort of physical contact with anyone. My wife and I have vastly differing opinions on these sort of things and I can’t really share this discovery with her. Should I allow her to continue her secret TikTok account and SnapChat life or what’s the best course otherwise?We’ve talked to her about the dangers of what you share and who you meet.
