CPS called

My wife just called and told me an officer just knocked on our door saying we needed to call and register our kids for homeschool. Which we do homeschool. She told him they are registered. But to call anyway. My wife called the number he provided and verify with the people that they are registered. The woman told my wife they got a complaint that my kids were not in school and CPS was also notified. My question is will cps show up even though everything is verified. Fucking noisy old neighbor had to of been the one to call and this infuriated me. We are following all the rules and requirements for home schooling. We did it last year and everything passed.
