First let me say I am a HUGE believer in teacher's being paid more and them not having to buy their own supplies as well as public schools desperately needing more funding. With that being said I feel really guilty when they send home flyers for us to buy things so the classroom can get more supplies/books and I end up buying them. Well I have twins and they just started Kindergarten so I'm spending double and school life is just getting started. The first fundraiser came and we bought stuff for that and the second one is already starting again. We don't have much family/friends so I feel obligated to buy stuff. How much do you guys spend at your kids' school? What's your cut off? Do you all donate supplies to the classroom as well? First month of school and we've bought $54 in school shirts, $50 for fundraiser, $60 in scholastic books (I don't mind the books though because I love reading to my girls.) via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/34tNSh2
