An update on an old post

I posted a little over a year ago about a drama mama at my child’s school. https://ift.tt/2HRlEDi last school year was actually fine. I neither encouraged nor discouraged my kid from playing with her kid, and it seems she did the same. When my kid asked me to set up a play date with the friend I kept it vague and said that I didn’t think it would work for their schedule.Earlier this week my kid directly asked her kid to come over, and the kid said “my mom has a list of people she likes and a list of people she doesn’t like. You’re on the list of people she doesn’t like.” What functional adult 1) keeps a list of children she dislikes and 2) shares that list with her young child for fucks sake?!Thankfully my kid has plenty of friends who do want to hang out with them, while her list of people she doesn’t like just keeps getting longer and longer. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2ZY7ff3
