*** AITA for being annoyed at DH for taking baby to his parents when they have a cold/virus. Now baby is really unwell.Give it to me straight. AITA for being pissed at DH for taking baby to his parents despite them telling him they had a sniffle/virus. This has ultimately led to baby being absolutely floored with a cold.He is on a business trip this week which means I am parenting, a very poorly 10month old baby, alone. So, disrupted sleeps for me as baby wakes up every three hours coughing and sneezing.Baby is tired and grumpy with a streaming nose and nasty cough!What irritates me the most is that FIL was supposed to finish renovation work on our bathroom but said he was unable due to having a virus. Which I empathised with. I’m not a cold bitch. I’m sorry they have a cold and don’t feel well. But why would DH be wreck-less enough to go rushing to parents house risking the chance of baby catching whatever virus they have.So bathroom remains unfinished, baby now loaded with the cold and I’m parenting solo for one week. By time DH returns baby will most likely have recovered from this cold. Great!TLDR: AITA for being annoyed and DH stupidity for taking baby to parents house when they warned him they are unwell.
