Hi, my wife just born our first baby 1 month ago so parenthood is pretty new to us. She stays at home and takes care of the baby. When I go back from work I change the diapers, bath the baby and try to bond by carrying it but usually when I hold it the baby starts crying. When my wife does it the child is calm and happy. I know that at this point relation with mother is much more important for infant than one with the father but is it normal at this stage? When children start to appreciate presence of the father?
